The Challenge
As eBay grew from a simple peer-to-peer auction site, to a global marketplace for individual, small business and corporate sellers, they needed to recognise these different types of ‘seller’ and provide a simple and intuitive interface to re-imagine their product experience. The Engine Service Design Team worked with them to develop a series of distinct propositions and experiences, whilst maintaining a seamless experience across their website, APP and the physical touchpoints for sellers and buyers.
